Sunday Celebration @ 10:10am

Sunday Celebration is based on A Course in Miracles, and the Service is a co-creation with readings, music, poetry and heart full sharing. Our prayerful arrival begins at 10:10 am as we gather in meditation. We start at 10:30, go to noon and often end with strong community connection.

Tuesday

Dr. David Hawkins Study Group @ 10:00am-12:00pm

On Tuesday mornings we have a Dr. Hawkins study group comprised of several dedicated students of Dr. Hawkins teachings. Our format fluctuates somewhat depending on the group but usually includes an opening of the Course in Miracles lesson for the day and a brief period of silence. Sometimes we sing the lesson. Currently we are reading Dr. Hawkins' book Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender. together. As we read in turn we are silent briefly after each paragraph or numbered item to allow the teaching to unfold within us, then questions or comments may be spoken about the ideas. We sometimes listen to clips from audio presentations by Dr. Hawkins and watch some of a video of one of his lectures. Sometimes we do muscle testing practice. The group is open to anyone who is interested in attending and it is helpful if one has his or her own copy of the book. For questions email: pam@thecenteroflightandtruth.org.

Miracle Minded/Heart Centered Communication @ 1:00-3:00pm
Enjoy communication, where you can receive seed-plantings for transforming the way you use language and connect with others.  Also come just to share your awareness and presence with others - you don't have to say much of anything unless you feel inspired to. No pressure! Those familiar with NVC are welcome to join in our intermediate practice group.For those new to Nonviolent Communication, Lindy and Robin lead classes several times a year on the basics of this model of communication as well as classes on empathy for self as a spiritual practice and classes on extending empathy to others.

JCIM Going Deeper @ 7:15-8:30pm

This is a gathering of those who are familiar with A Course In Miracles and are wanting to go deeper into its experience in their lives. We use the The “Thetford” version of ACIM and have extra copies to share with here.

Thursday

Conscious Spirituality @ 10:30am-12:00pm

Facilitated by Joshua Heartsong Thursday mornings, 10:30-12 noon. Join us as we explore the possibilities of living as a Divine expression of the One in our daily lives. Here we engage the ideas of moving from merely existing to an expression of our inheritance – Divine aliveness! We look into the problems and possibilities of living spiritually conscious. We use the two companion books to the Course In Miracles written by Brett Haskell as a “springboard” into our discussions. His two books, Journey Beyond Words and The Other Voice are available at Amazon and we have several loaner copies to share in the class.

Facilitated by Julia. A free form class moving from the discussion of concepts to an experience of Light. Followed by a silent joining meditation.
